What would the world be with out Daddy's to cuddle

One of my favorite things in this world is to watch my husband melt when he sees our child. I am blessed to have such a wonderful husband who takes the time to snuggle with his daughter. I think we are never to old to cuddle our daddies, even at 31 I still make it a point to cuddle my dad for a moment. Next time you see yours give him a cuddle!!!

Mmmm Bloody nips watch out victoria secrets here comes Russ

As a novice to this whole long-distance running thing, I have recently
learned about some important tools--one of which is BodyGlide. It's
sort of a Vaseline-type lubricant, & goes on like a deodorant & you can
put it pretty much anywhere to help prevent chafing.

Well, as I ran in the 80% humidity Saturday morning through Old Town, I
began to notice that many of the people I was passing were looking at me
funny. I looked down at my shirt & then realized that I had forgotten
to put BodyGlide on my nipples.

I had Tommi take a picture when I got home--how do you like the dramatic
face I put on for the camera?

Strike a pose there's nothing to it ... Vogue

I have to say my favorite subject to take pictures of would be my little ham Gracie! She loves to have her pic taken, all I have to say is do something cute or Cheese Burger and she stops and gives me something to work with!! Here are a few of her crazy poses. I put a hat on her that is obviously way to little but way to funny not to share with all of you. The other pics are of Gracies first pony tail, I didn't even have to pull the camera out she asked me to get the camera to take a picture ... oh no what have I created? Little kids are so much fun!! ENJOY my little ham in pictures

Oh Beautiful for Spacious Skiies ...

Russ and I went to Las Vegas for the Fourth of July weekend and had the most realxing time! WE spent most of the time just sitting in the pool and napping. Grace was a little afraid of the pool and her water wings , she would hold on for dear life to Russ and I but after day two she was pushing us away and wanted her space in the pool. Grace even decided she wanted to jump off the diving board after watching her cousins jump a few times. The night of the fourth we climbed up on my dad's roof and watched the "poppies" (that is what Ms. Grace calls fireworks). There were so many fire works Grace had no idea where to look she just kept saying "I love them mommy" as if we had put them in the ski just for her. On the way up to Vegas Grace decided she was done with the car seat an started screaming I busted out the camera to take a picture and just as I did she saw the camera and smiled ... it was pretty funny you can see the picture above. She is a little actress I must say. Russ and I also had the pleasure of sleeping in the living room on the sir mattresses and the first night our king size air mattress went flat so the next night we decided to use my dad's and sure enough that air mattress went flat as well. Russ and I were so grumpy because we couldn't seem to get a good nights rest but we made sure to nap every day. Russ also wanted to experience a light run in 110 degree heat umm yeah he came home and said it was the worst experience. Grace loved having all her Uncles, cousins, Aunt's and Uncles and most importantly she loved having her papa (grandpa) around ... her little finger. It was a blast to be around family.

I just want to say we live in a beautiful country and enjoy so many freedoms, for some reason that reality hit me hard this Fourth of July! I am grateful for all the freedoms that are given to me and my family it is pretty amazing!
